I know, we're awfully bad at blogging these days, but you see, we were both kidnapped by aliens (known as employers) and held astray until we made enough money to be able to survive, luckily, we both managed it and are hoping to escape unharmed on Pay Day. So please accept our apologies, for our complete lack of updates.

Moving on, this post is going to be about make-up, because of our severe lack of purchases - who am I kidding, we just haven't photographed them yet, suck it up. Anyway, we did say a while back that we would tell you what make-up we use and is our favourite and alas, that day has now come.

We both agree that Urban Decay is one of the best companies out there for eyeshadow and their primer potion was also very good. We both own the purple palette(pictured below) and Jesse owns several others including the limited edition Alice in Wonderland set that was released. Sami also uses their eyeliner pencil on a frequent basis.
Where mascara is concerned, we both agree that L'oreals Volume Millions Lashes was the best for making your eyelashes looking long and intriguing. Although, we are both hard pushed to find it these days in Belfast, so we may have to resort to ordering it online.

For our inner eye lid, we both use what is known as Theatrical Eyeliner. Sami discovered this amazing pencil after her sister wore it for disco dancing and neither of us have stopped using it since. You can usually find it in your local theatrical costume store, or a quick google search would probably bring up some results.

For foundation Jesse uses L'Oreal - Visible Lift Firming Anti-Wrinkle Foundation and Sami is currently testing some out, including Avon's Light Make-Up and the Dream Matt Mousse by Maybelline. We have heard good things about Mac Foundation and may consider giving it a go and see how it turns out. If you have any recommendations and would like to share them, please feel free to leave a comment below, or give us a quick email. We both use Natural Collection Pressed Powder in Warm as well as their concealer for cover-ups which is both cheap and we both like it.

I think that's it as far as both of our make-up use is concerned, we both tend to use black eyeliner on our top and bottom eyelids and then mascara. We currently don't have any fancy hints or tips, make-up is a subtle art that each person must take into their own hands and figure out what works for them. We promise, we'll update again soon with a more exciting post for you guys and once again, accept our apologises for being kidnapped by aliens.

Until next time,
Sami & Jesse
p.s Coming soon, our very own individual blogs.

So we've been noticing that a lot of our favourite high street shops have started posting their Autumn/Winter season previews and we have both been checking them out for the past few days. Thus, we decided to share our opinions on the upcoming trends, a sort of what to wear and what not to wear this upcoming season. So here we go:

Blog Set 1
1. Turbans - We have no idea what this trend is about. We're pretty sure we haven't seen anyone running about wearing a turban unless they are doing so for religious purposes, in which case fair play to them, but then isn't it sort of insulting if we all start doing it?
2. Fringing - We hate tassels and fringes. We are not old fashioned curtains or lamp-shades, so what the hell! If you're going to wear a top that covers your bits then have your midriff slightly covered with tassels, what is the point. Either you want to show it off, or you don't.
3. Animal Print Fur - This is just wrong altogether. First, you kill the animal for the fur, then you print animal print on top of it, thus ironically, you are wearing an animal and looking like one. Just no. Not at all. Ever.
4. Loafers - What the heck, we aren't grannys! And grannys don't even wear loafer heels so where did this weird trend come from? These designers need to get their heads sorted.
5. Rugs - Now this kind-of poncho/cardigan isn't too bad, but it still does look like someones taken a rug and added some seams and now it's fashionable. No. It is not. It's just weird!!
6. Wet look/Foil things - What are you, a plastic bag? You haven't been in the rain either, it's summer (depending on where you live, ofc). So what the hell!! Why do you want to look like you've been wrapped in tin foil, or had a shower with your clothes on? We just don't understand!
7.  Mustard - Now, I like the colour yellow, yellow is fine, it's all bright and sunshine and lemons. But mustard is the ugliest shade of anything, ever. You look like you should be on top of a hot dog. So, just take it off and go and eat one instead, thank you please. Jesse likes mustard, because she's weird :).
8. Phojazzling - Yeah so, we just made that word up. But it's like vajazzling for your phone. Why on earth do you want to cover your phone in jewels or your vagina for that matter? You've just paid at least a couple hundred pounds for this amazing piece of technology that lets you talk to other people quickly and easily and adding some bling on top of it just makes you uncool. What if it breaks and you've to take it into the shop and it's all phojazzled? They'll have to sit and pick them off before they can fix your phone, thus taking longer to do and the more annoyed you get waiting on it. So just don't do it. Not now. Not ever.

Now that we've got through all the seasonal no-gos, here are some trends we can definitely get on board with!

1. Coloured Jeans - We are definitely enjoying the coloured jeans, denim is often boring and its such an easy way to brighten up an outfit, and your summer, by sticking on a bright pair of jeans. We currently want: red, green, blue, purple. All of them really!
2. Blazers - Blazers used to be a work-wear only thing, but they've hit the fashion world hard and now its an a good way to look semi-professional for an interview, or just as a jacket with some colourful jeans and a plain top and you're flying.
3. Autumn Colours - I (Sami) currently love this dress, I wanted it for my graduation in black but they didn't have my size and now it's in red and my size, want! But the red and gold and browns of Autumn colours is definitely a trend that we are both on board with. Jesses favourite colour is red, so that works too!
4. Nerdy/Print Jumpers - I (Sami, again) want this jumper! Actually, I want this whole set. We both love jumpers that have nerdy prints, or just a nice print, like some hearts, or polkadots, or bows, works for us. Paired with coloured jeans too and there you go, outfit!
5. Fur-lined Boots - Jesse definitely enjoys fur-lined boots and she has several pairs, I prefer non-fur boots, but the ones picture I actually kind of like. I have seem some nice ones, so I'm not going to outline the trend completely just yet. But fur boots and uggs, are definitely winter shoes and it's no wonder they are slowly creeping back onto the high street.
6. Coloured Cardigans - Cardigans to go with the jeans, of course! And because well it gets colder in the winter weather, a bright colourful cardigan will keep you warm and cheer you up a bit!
7. Headbands - Now, I have to admit, I've never really worn headbands, but Jesse has worn the wire ones that you can turn up into rabbit ears, which is still an ongoing trend. But these big bow headbands have hit the market and I'm seeing them everywhere. However, I did find them first on etsy, and I pasted a rainbow version of this one, to Jesse's facebook wall, stating the fact that I wanted it! I spy a trend-set.
8. Animal Hats - This trend caught on last year, with River Island's Panda Hat being seen on almost every head, then came the cats and raccoons and foxes and bears. And they aren't fast to go out of fashion, they are coming back into stock for all our winter needs. A cute little animal hat to make us look stupid, but keep our heads warm, well who can complain!

So there you go, our fashion opinions for all your Autumn/Winter trendy needs! Do share with us in a comment any trends you are on board with this season, or if you disagree with our no's, do let us know why!

Until next time,

Sami & Jesse
Most of us who have grown up through the 90s have grown up alongside Harry Potter and his Wizarding World. So it came as no surprise that many of us felt emotional and giddy this past weekend when the final movie came out. Now what are we to do with our summers many will ask! But here's the answer, re-read the books, or re-watch the movies, have a movie marathon party and which all 8 of them! Harry Potter is not over. It wasn't over when the last book came out, and it certainly isn't over now that the last movie is out. Those of us who take the fandom seriously, will always know where to find Harry and his friends.

Jesse and I are relatively big fans of Harry so we couldn't resist getting our gear on and going to the midnight showing of HP2. It was our last chance to do something of this sort, so why not! I had a Hufflepuff tie since I'm a huffie, I got it in FAO Schwartz in New York but there are places online where you can get harry potter themed merchandise and I'll talk about more of that in a second. But first, some pictures:

Top - New Look
Jeans - New Look
Cardigan - Primark
Tie - FAO Schwartz

My HP themed outfit wasn't too over-the-top since it was going to be late when we got out of the cinema (2:30am) and I didnt want to be freezing whilst waiting for a taxi in the morning air. Jesse, being a Gryffindor, wore jeans, a red n black top and a yellow cardigan, unfortunately we didn't get any pics of her cause she's sneaky and prefers to be behind the camera (I will get you!). However, she did wear a lot of Jewellery that could be deemed HP related which we thought was quite awesome, so here are some pics and explainations of that instead:

 The Sword of Godric Gryffindor
It's actually a necklace made by highly recommended jeweller, Thomas Sabo.

Dark Mark/Death Eater Ring
The first ring was bought from River Island and works as a symbol for the Dark Lord's Mark/Army. I also think the second ring which was bought from  merchandiser at Q-con is also very Dark Lordy.

Rowena Ravenclaw
I feel that this ring, which is actually from an Anime Jesse watches, (Kuroshitsuji) can be seen as homage to Rowena Ravenclaw's Lost Diadem, which has a blue diamond in the middle of it.  The ring was bought in Square Enix, Tokyo, Japan.

Therefore, we were very Harry Potter themed either in our clothing, or jewellery. It was also quite funny because just before the movie started I was talking to Jesse about these jeans I had spotted on Dorothy Perkins website that were lilac and when the movie came on, none other than the quirky but lovely Luna Lovegood was wearing them:
Hers are a slightly darker purple but nonetheless, the idea was the same. Although personally, I wouldn't have paired that top with them!

The dresses that JK Rowling and Emma Watson wore to the World Premiere in London were amazing also. I also enjoyed that the boys looked so scrubbed up as well:

Jk's Dress had a kind of Cherry Blossom theme to it which was awesome. Emma's reminded me of a dress that Carrie Bradshaw wore in Sex and the City that when she sat down in it, it was just there, her in the middle of a dress still. You can see it here.

Anyway, I don't know if many of you own or would consider owning anything Harry Potter related but since this is a fashion blog, I do have to make some relevance to fashion and there is plenty of it. A simple search on Etsy for 'Harry Potter' brings up quite a lot of results, mostly jewellery. Like this Deathly Hallows Necklace, or these Mischief Managed Bracelets, or my absolute favourite, but very expensive, Dragon Themed Ring. There are also many snitches, owls, dark lord and house related items.

However, if you are looking for Harry Potter themed clothing and you aren't near to an FAO Schwartz, or ebay doesn't have what you're looking for, Whimsic Alley is the best place to find Harry Potter Merchandise. You can get Sweaters, ties, wands, quills, hats, scarves, anything you could possibly ever want to be a part of the Harry Potter World. So I've given you a lot of links and things to think about and I'm going to leave you here, with the parting words of JK Rowling herself:

"Whether you come back by film or by page, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home.
Until next time,
Sami & Jesse

Well this week for Sami's Gradutaion, the lot of us decided a night out was needed.  We decided to get everyone down to Belfast for a night out at the Box Nightclub in the Odyssey Arena, if you want to check it out then click here.  Well the night started off problematic as we couldn't decide what to wear.  The boys as always took five minutes getting changed.  However for me and Sami well, it took a lot longer and Sami's room ended up looking like a bomb had exploded.  :p

It is not that easy trying to find a outfit for a night out.  Don't you agree. We are women after all, too many clothes and not a thing to wear! Eventually, after many changes - at least 10 on Jesse's part, we ended up wearing the following:

 Dress - Internacionale
Shoes -
New Look
Necklace - Ebay

Top -  A random small boutique in Coleraine
Shorts - ASOS
Shoes - New Look
Cardigan - New Look

Overall, we had a very good and drunken night and it was sad to see everyone run off home again the next afternoon cause we had to work. But hopefully we will be doing it all again next month and we have all been talking regularly again with each other since which is good!

Also, we send our apologies for not posting everyday for a week like we said we would, but with our jobs and the Northern Irish Public Holiday season in full swing, it's been hard to work blogging hours into our schedules. So we're not going to make any more promises like that soon. However, we have appointed one day a week where we will definitely blog regardless of anything else, so you can expect a post at least once a week from us from now on!

And since we really don't have much more to say on the matter about fashion regarding our night out, we're going to leave you with some more pics of our drunken faces :)

From top to Bottom:
1. Us celebrating with Zinfandel Rose Champagne Wine - not even sure what it was tbh but it was lethal!
2. Outside the cloakroom madness
3. Us together
4. Drinks that come highly recommended - A Granny Smith and  A Fruitbox. £3 each, definitely try these if you can!

Until next time!
Sami & Jesse
So, we've mentioned it before, that we were on the hunt for Shoes and Dresses for Sami's Graduation, which also prompted our trip to Dublin where only my sister was successful in finding something. It took a lot of trawling round the internet for both of us to find something we liked but eventually we got there!! So here you go, us in our Graduation finery!

Jesse
Dress - Asos
Shrug - New Look
Shoes - New Look

Sami
Dress - Dorothy Perkins
Shoes - Topshop

We both ended up wearing high heels, because it is apparently impossible to find kitten heeled blue heels, though now that I dont want them, they are everywhere. I did fall in love with those 5 inch topshop heels though and I wore them right until the end of the ceremony when my poor feet couldn't take it any longer and I stuck on my blue denim flats from Asda. And for your viewing pleasure, here is a nice close up of them!

We had a good day at the Graduation ceremony and whilst collecting my parchment, I got to shake hands with Cold Feet actor, James Nesbitt, who is the chancellor for my University. He also gave a good speech and quoted Bilbo Baggins in saying:  "The Road goes ever on and on down from the door where it began. Now far ahead the Road has gone and I must follow, if I can, pursuing it with eager feet, until it joins some larger way where many paths and errands meet. And whither then? I cannot say".

Also, since I'm a big smarty pants, I got lots of cool presents, mainly in the form of cupcakes, chocolate or jewellery. I'm definitely jewellery-ed out. My granny alone bought me, two necklaces, a bracelet and a little butterfly charm for my charm bracelet. Jesse bought a cupcake necklace and a bracelet which had a little silver leaf on it. My mum and dad bought me an awesome Pandora bracelet which has an 'S' charm and little books which are awesome! Hopefully I'll get to wear some of it soon!

Also, I have a nickel allergy so it's quite difficult to find Jewellery that I can actually wear, so Jesse and I have decided to start making our own! We sat the night before my graduation, putting some together so we could show them off throughout the day, so far we have managed to put together a couple of things, but we are still working on it and there will definitely be a post about it when we're ready to get it all on the go. But here is my favourite item so far:

It's a little blue notebook with some beads and a 'made with love' charm which will go on every item!

All in all, it was a successful day, though a long one but we all enjoyed it, especially our dinner at Yokos Noodle Bar!

We have been celebrating with family dinners and tomorrow, we're having a big drunken celebration with our friends who are coming up from all over the place, which hopefully we will report on at some point!

Until tomorrow,
Sami & Jesse

Hey Readers!

So sorry for the entire lack of updates these past few weeks, we have both had one thing after another, new jobs, current jobs, conventions, graduations, dinners, etc. But we are here and we are back to bring the best of the beautiful and the bizarre that we have discovered over the course of the past while and to make up for our complete lack of updates, we are blogging everyday from today until next Tuesday! An entire week of posts just for your eyes!

Today, we are going to start with Q-con. Q-con is our local Anime and Gaming convention that happens every year around the end of June. We pre-booked weekend tickets as it was cheaper to do so but unfortunately Sami was only able to attend the evening events due to Induction training for her new job, so this post will be brought to you by Jesse! Enjoy!

Well hey and welcome back, as you can already tell I am an anime geek.  I love it all. :p  When people think of Anime, they think of cartoons, however there is a lot more to it than that.  A lot of people cosplay at these conventions and there was a big turn out of cosplayers at this convention.  There are many types of cosply such as: lolita types,  school girl types (kogal), gothic (visual kei) and even manba (this is were they have really tanned skin and white eyes). Here are a few pictures of cosplayers that we managed to take:

In order of appearance they are meant to be the following characters:Rin Kagamine from Vocaloid, some of the members of organization XIII from Kingdom of Hearts with Tokiko Tsumura from Buso Renkin, Sasuke Uchiha from Naruto, Hakuoro from Utawarerumono, the Mario crew with Monkey D Luffy from One Piece, Vergil from Devil May Cry, and the crew from Kuroshitsuji.

Me and Sami didn't dress up this year though I did want too, I was interested in going as a member of Ouran High School Host Club. You can find many Cosplay costumes on Ebay or a simple Google search will return many options. I did wear t-shirts that I made on Cafepress which have some of my favourite Anime characters on them such as Ichigo Kurosaki, the Ouran High School Host Club crew and a Skip Beat one.  I also wore my hair up in a bow headband, which made me look like I had ears :p   Sami was at work induction training and whilst wearing things appropriate for work, she did a bit of 'nerd chic' and wore a nerdy shirt which had a robot on it saying 'Hug me' from New Look. A newer version of it can be found here.

New Look often has a range of printed tees in with bold/nerdy statements on them and they are currently doing offers such as 2 printed tees for £10-£14 depending on which range you choose from! Currently, the kids range has loads of cute ones I hope to see transferred to the adult section, such as this panda tshirt which is totally cute! As far as 'nerd chic' goes, wearing skinny jeans, converses and a statement tee works, also add braces and large black-rimmed glasses for the extra nerdy effect. Maybe we will do an a post on casual nerd chic and show you what we mean!

For now though, we hope you enjoyed our cosplay pics and if you see yourself and want your name posted under your picture either let us know in the comments (we really would appreciate some of those too!!) or by emailing us at beautifulbizarre@gmail.com.

See you tomorrow!!
Jesse & Sami
Kimono is a Japanese word which literally means "a thing to wear". In Japan, Kimonos are a part of everyday life, women wear them on their wedding day, at tea ceremonies and the Japanese bury the dead in Kimonos, changing the cross over from left to right,to right to left.

However, after designers such as Louis Vuitton, Alexander McQueen, L'wren Scott and Diane von Furstenberg featured kimono jackets in their collections, it was only a matter of time before the eastern influence hit the UK High Street. You can believe us when we tell you, it has definitely hit and it has caught on like wildfire. Every shop we went into had some sort of kimono-style top or jacket and we were both quite happy to snap some up.

Jesse is a lover of all things Japanese and has now got herself quite a collection of Kimono's, we will feature some of these here, but in order to keep the loading time down and bandwidth free, we will post links to the others.  To start us off, here is when we wore our Kimonos to go shopping for shoes to match our graduation dresses (which will become another post at some point).

Kimono - River Island
Black top - New Look
Jeans - New Look
Shoes - New Look
Necklace - Forever 21

Kimono - Penneys/Primark
Black top - Primark
Jeans - Peacocks
Shoes - Primark

Jesse's Other Kimonos Include the two following, both also from River Island. Actually, I'm pretty sure all of her kimono's are from River Island, haha.  (Jesse: nearly all Sami I do have one from Tokyo :p)

The top one is like a peachy pink colour but it's hard to see in the picture.  She also has, the same top as the 2nd picture in plain white from River Island, as well as the kimono here, here and here. She also bought a navy blue floral one today which is not available on the website at the moment. There is also a gorgeous white kimono here, we recommend you go and snap any of these up asap! They sell out fast! The third one is an actually yukata from Jesse last visit to Tokyo.  (As you can tell Jesse is obessed with Japan :p)

Sami's other Kimonos are as follows:

The Black Kimono with Roses all over it I got from Ebay, I couldn't resist it, it was so pretty! It's longer than most of the ones on the high street but still great. The second one is from River Island, it is no longer available on the website. The third one with the butterflies all over it is a Kimono top from New Look which is available here and I've just noticed it in the black too. Oh New Look, why do you torture me so! There are also some new floral ones on the new look website which are gorgeous. I am currently lusting after this butterfly one from Matalan though!

A simple search on any of the websites such as New Look, River Island, Topshop, Asos and Ebay will produce some good results with a variety of kimono jackets and tops. Some of the websites also list their Kimono style tops under 'Oversize tops' and a lot of One-sleeved dresses have Kimono-style sleeves such as this and this.

As far as we are concerned, kimonos are definitely a trend we are on par with. Adding a kimono top or jacket to your wardrobe is an easy way to brighten up a boring outfit and you can even add them to a little black dress and match your shoes for a night out, or for a nice dinner. I know some of the ones from River Island and ASOS for example can be rather expensive for a floaty jacket, but Primark is in on this trend and you can get yourself a nice cheap one for around £10. So get into girlies and get one of these babies into your wardrobe!!

Now that we've discussed kimono's, of course we couldn't go into town without buying a little something, so here is what we bought:

Jesse bought these two rings, the first one is from New Look and is two claws coming together, this is definitely our bizarre item of the week! She also bought the heart knuckle duster from Internacionale. The ring she has on is a Snow-white pick-axe ring from Disney couture, who can't spell Jewellery we discovered:

A lot to be said for disney couture, they do some beautiful items. We will definitely do a jewellery post sometime in the near future, promise!

We should also do a post on nail polishes and nail art, Jesse owns pretty much every colour of nail polish from Collection 2000. She bought these four new shades called Fruit Loop, Lemon Soda, Milkshake and Angel Wings. We also both bought this Barry M Crackle Nail Polish, which if you paint over your nail it crackles it in a cool style, this has definitely taken off throughout the blogsophere, it's a lazy way of making your nails a little funky. Jesse demonstrates here:

The light blue nail polish that Jesse has on as a base coat is also for the collection 2000 hot looks set called button moon.

Jesse also got two free lipglosses from Collection 2000 as it was buy any 2 items and get a free lipgloss, since she bought four nail polishes, she got two. She also bought the Rimmel 2n1 Mascara that she uses, a make up post will need to be done too, you guys have a lot to look forward too from us!

Jesse was also wearing her forever 21 Koi fish necklace, but the chain was too short so she used it as a bracelet which I think works better! It looks really cool!

Sami is allergic to nickel, which means she can't wear high street jewellery as it's made with nickel. Today we were shopping for shoes again in Lisburn and we went into this little shop that was closing down and found loads of jewellery made with buttons and ribbon/elastic. She couldn't resist snapping it right up. Jesse also bought some which I don't have a picture of. We both got cool lip balms, Sami's is Opera Mint and Jesse's was Green Tea flavour. Here is a picture of Sami's jewellery:

As a side note, I know it says that Bracelet was £8, it was actually only £4 as everything was 50% off due to the closing down sale.

I can't wait to try out some of my Jewellery and see what people think, I never get to wear anything cool and stylish! I could even pair some of it with some of my kimono's!

We hope you are enjoying our blog and as we've promised we now have jewellery, make up and nail polish posts coming up, as well as our graduation outfits. You have plenty to look forward to, so please, keep reading and forward our link on! Also if you want a link on our nice little links bar on the side, please let us know, as long as you are willing to link back!

Also, if you are reading, please feel free to leave us a comment, we really would appreciate some! And if you have any questions or queries, you can always contact us via email at beautifulbizarre@gmail.com

Hope to hear from you soon!

Sami & Jesse

Hey Guys,

Yesterday, we adventured down to Dublin via the train, we were hoping to find dresses for Sami's graduation ceremony, after not having any luck in Belfast or online. So we decided, we might as well make the most of it and see what we could find for you guys whilst we were there.

Let's start by showing you what we both wore, we call this 'Practical but Pretty' as we needed to be sensible for the weather forecast predicted Rain and we were walking about on our feet for the entire day:

Top - Exhibit
Shorts -
Asos Curve
Cardigan -
New Look
Tights - Primark
Shoes -
New Look
Headband -
Urban Outfitters
Necklace -
Homemade

Top - New Look
Waistcoat -
Internacionale
Jeans -
Peacocks
Shoes -
Asda (they are grey flats)
Necklace -
Swarovski
Hair clips -
Dunnes Stores

Top Picture: Jesse's Jewellery
Homemade necklace using a Japanese Yen coin and some material. Ring is from Accessorize and Bracelet is from Newlook. That is also a Japanese Origami Crane Incense Burner.

Sami's Jewellery
Both Pearl Bracelet and Butterfly bracelet are from Internacionale.

So clothes wise, we didn't really find anything interesting. I tried on a one-sleeved Kimono like dress which was white and black, but it was completely see through and for privacy purposes I am not going to post here. Instead, we found lots of pretty interesting shoes from New Look.  Here are some pictures:

These Denim sandals we both really liked, they were designed by a student from one of the fashion Universities in London. Jesse bought these on the day. They are also available in black. Click Here to go to the New Look website and check them out.

We both really liked these Polkadot High Heels which are also available in Grey with red polkadots. We liked the funky and summery colours of the yellow and blue though. Neither of us purchased them but Sami is still considering it. Again, available here on the New Look website.

And the most interesting shoes we seen the whole day. Sami feels they are Lady Gaga-esque and possibly the ugliest things she has ever seen. Jesse on the other hand thinks they are cute and remind me of lolita style. (Though I would love to wear these they just a bit too high for me :p)

We also found many interesting accessories, the most interesting of which was this Mohawk inspired hat, which Sami couldn't resist trying on:

Really though, I think we should stick to the animal inspired hats for winter, many of which are available over on the River Island website, alongside this one.

While neither of us found what we were looking for (i.e. a dress for graduation), we did manage to spend some Euros on the following:

Jesse
Cherry Blossom Shower Gel and Perfume from The Body Shop.

Alongside the Japanese Crane Incense Holder, Jesse bought Cherry Blossom Incense and Matcha Green tea.

She also bought the Denim sandals pictured earlier from New Look alongside: these shorts, these hareem pants and two boyfriend cardigans here in blue, she also got it in a brown colour which is not displayed online.

Sami

Denim Satchel Bag, Mint Green 3/4 Sleeve Top, Floral Kimono*, Cookie Monster Red Tee, Happy Face Tee and Meow Tee. All from the Irish version of Primark, Penneys.

We had dinner at a place called Captain Americas which comes highly recommended for the brilliant and speedy service. We'd also recommend the Bounty's Revenge and Bubblegum Cocktails which we enjoyed very much. We did try the Oreo Meltdown Cocktail but it tasted of Mint which was overpowering and very strong. Disappointing.

All in all, the day was pretty fun though quite exhausting as we hadn't slept the night before and we were walking everywhere. So if you are ever going to Dublin, either stay over, or sleep the night before and get yourself some decent walking shoes or an all day tram/bus ticket which will hopefully take you where you need to go.  Make sure if you're planning to shop to bring your own bags as the paper bags they give you aren't very good in the rain, as we unfortunately found out.  Running in the rain with an arm full of clothes and shoes down Grafton Street not so good.

Also look out for The Spire and Molly Malone, both pictured below. Would you believe we missed the spire the first time? I have no idea how!

We had a good day, but now the hunt is on again for dresses to wear to graduation!

We seen some Beautiful and Bizarre things yesterday and we know that fashion changes very quickly, so we'll keep our eye out for more.

Until next time,

Sami & Jesse

*Kimonos are trendy at the moment, we'll blog on this next time (Jesse is obsessed with these).
**Title Story: We were told to keep walking until the tiles turned red and then we'd be on Grafton Street. So if you ever are looking for it, keep walking until the tiles turn red ;)
